worse people then a car show

boat show!

I love to go to superboat races in Florida, ( I love anything mechanical )this also runs the same time as a big poker run for off shore boats.

since most of these things start at $250,000 (and way up ) you can imaging the people that own them. the only thing bigger then their check book is their egos, most wearing their MR T gold neck chain starter sets....

OOps...

But I highly doubt your Mom has the Mr T. starter kit and the excessively hairy chests like you see running rampant at Corvette Carlisle... Last year, I thought I was in a time warp and had ended up back in the 80's at a disco or something...

Gone to the offshore races in Cocoa Beach the last 2 years, 90% of the racers/crew seem to be a bunch of fun loving gear heads, fun to mingle.

Sounds like the Cars & Coffee show that we have around here once a month.

Re: worse people then a car show

Was at a show this weekend. The local Corvette club showed up all at the same time 30 or so newer 1 63', 1 85' 1 73'. Anyway when they didn't win anything they all left at the same time. Real snotty bunch, don't think any of them have any tools in their garage.

I love boat shows, but I like the boats that are more parallel to the cars we drive. Those huge ocean boats are so big (and heavy) I just can't relate to them.

These are the "true" Hot Rod boats.
