A26 Progress--we made the news!

I don't know if this link will open. If it does not, I am not enough of the computer person to make it work.

That is so COOL ! I think this clip is the first time I saw what you started with. Pretty impressive. Like a frame off Chevelle X 1000. Did you track man-hours ? Just curious because this was obviously a labour of LOVE anyway. Cant wait to see you post pics of the first flight. Well done Tom. You must be very proud, and rightly so.

Pretty impressive, Tom. I'd be offering that blonde newscaster a ride, I bet she'd look good in a flight suit!

Re: A26 Progress--we made the news!

Tom, my hat is off to you guys for sticking with it all these years and seeing it to completion. Do y'all have an A26-rated pilot? When does she take flight? Again, congrats to all of you.

Well, we sorta do and we sorta don't have a pilot. The guy that was the pilot on the black A26, which I used to be a part time crew member, is our top choice, but we just can't seem to get things put together. It WILL happen!!!

Tom, what was the tail number when the Air Force owned it? I might be able to connect to someone who actually flew it back in the day... my old squadron '71-'72 https://13thbombsquadron.net/
