Some times we can see the rocket trail when they launch but to cloudy today
The only time I saw something was here in Texas when the shuttle blew up. Sadly, I found a piece of insulation
or something, in my back yard. The general warning was out, not to touch etc. I picked it up in a plastic bag sealed it, put it away somewhere. Damn, I forgot about that until I just read your post Rick. I remember taking it out with me and
asking a bud about it. At first he got really weird and started bitching at me, etc. Until I mentioned to him that they
said on the news we were in the debris field here in North Texas, that I found it in my back yard. Then he apologized
and said he thought I was making fun of it or something.
Any way, I'm glad that didn't happen today. I loved watching that launch. It was really enlightening seeing Mission Control on tables with legs, monitors, key boards, mice, how clean, how networked we've become. Technology.
It used to fill up rooms, cabinets, massive heat requiring massive air conditioning.
Can't wait to see us on the moon again, then on mars.
