Any plans for your hair?

With all the business shutdowns, my barbershop is on the hit list. So what should I plan on for hair maintenance? Should I let it go back to those longer hair days of the 1970's or become a home barber? An afro would be a change for sure.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

I got lucky and was able to get one in right at the height of the hoarding. I'll be good for another week, 2+ more will be tolerable, but then it'll start feeling shaggy.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

I have a cordless trimmer, I may give it a shot in a few weeks. A couple of friends with hair loss use them and are happy with the results. I was thinking of trying it even before they closed barber shops, the place I go to charges $25, which is cheap for this area, they do a good job, but I donít like paying that much.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

The guy who does my hair has a shop about 5 miles from me., which is closed. But, He also has a set up in his basement at his house, which is about 10 miles from his shop. Its a rural area where he lives. and does a few here and there at that location. Since I used to deliver his mail at his regular shop, we became kind of like buddies since he likes cars also. So, he told me long ago, just give him call whenever I needed a haircut, or borrow some tools if Im in a pinch. Currently Im close to needing one.

I got mine cut, (whatís left of it), last week before the local shop closed. I wear it darn near shaved.

I hope it last the duration.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

Gotmy haircut buzzed off at end of February. I usually go about 2 months before next buzz. If the shops don't reopen by then I will have to borrow my dog's clippers (sorry Stella you have share). I have let my facial hair grow. A month into it I'm starting to look like Santa's scrawny little brother. Even my wife likes the beard. My first beard in thirty years of marriage.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

I usually get my annual haircut in the beginning of May, but since I was interviewing for jobs last fall and wanted to look presentable, I had it cut in October, so I can probably let it go this year. By the time it's safe to go again, it'll be getting cold out.

Re: Any plans for your hair?

Wife cuts it, even when she don't want to and I go get it cut..she cuts it after anyway, says it wasn't done right lol, now if she would just save me the $10 to $20 before I go it'd be great
