Ammo out of stock

I should've bought a couple hundred rnds. of .40 cal. S&W before this virus, everywhere I'm looking online is out of stock for anything under .30 cents per rnd., even .50 cent per rnd. is out but I don't think I'd pay that unless it was a specialty rnd., my usual stop is CheaperThanDirt.com, anyone know a place not Out of Stock?

Re: Ammo out of stock

Jeff S just hooked me up with a place, .32 ea. for 200 rnds. 180 grain, I should've ordered another 100 or so rnds. for my .45 Kimber though, $9.95 shipping for 100 then I added another 100 and still the same so I probably could've added more

Re: Ammo out of stock

40 S&W is one of the few calibers you can still find around me. 9mm and 45 ACP are long picked through.

Never thought I'd see a Cabelas store completely out of hand gun ammo....but I did three weeks or so ago.

And to hell with some of these online guys who have jacked their prices up.

Re: Ammo out of stock

What is the very first thing an army that wins a war does? They disarm the defeated and vanquished people. Why? so they don't get killed by the vanquished defeated people.

Think of the persons here in the U.S., that are doing any and everything they possibly can to force getting into power, what are they most deathly afraid of.....GETTING SHOT DEAD by people that want to retain their freedom.

Move your head to the left, THAT is the direction they are coming from.

I almost said something that would've sent this to CE but caught myself, I like to have plenty of rounds per gun for the range

If you turn off the noise and look hard enough, you can see it. It's hard to deny....as unpleasant as it may be to think about.

Re: Ammo out of stock

Rick, I know it's a little late, but you should think about getting into reloading, I haven't had to buy factory ammo since '07 except for .22 LR.

Since I'm not currently allowed to go to work, I had plenty of time to make up another 1000 rds. of .40 to add to my stash, can't let the reserves get too low.

Re: Ammo out of stock

I use to help my Gfather (moms side) and my dad reload in the 70's, guess I should look into that, a friend of mine does his own reloading also, I got some .380's from him for my wifes S&W body guard a couple yrs ago

Re: Ammo out of stock

after the last few scares and learn from this one, always pick up a box or two of ammo. when walmart sold handgun ammo, I would buy a box most of the time we went there to shop. they still stock .22s so last stop a 500 round box ended up in my cart even though I didnt need it. jim
