Has anyone ever heard of this company?

INNOVO SERVICES GMBH USA LLC

I filled out an application over a week ago, online, and got an email offer today.
The starting salary was too good to be true----------------you know what that means!
They are headquartered in Germany, but have offices in New York, NY.
I just thought I would see if anyone here has knowledge of this company.
I've looked it up on the internet, but not much information--------------I suspect things may not be as they appear.

Did your application include your real social security number, home address or any other personal information?

That's why I ask, I'm not sure what they do.
I was searching online for some part time work. I DID NOT accept the offer. It seem to be a purchasing type position dealing with European and Asian customers, working from home.

Again, it seemed to be too good to be true, and we all know what that means.

We may all be looking for part time work again if this economy doesn't recover.

Be careful, Tom, as noted, it just might be a phishing expedition.

Could that be the Innovo that builds/offers timing lights, auto stuff???

One would think there would be a bunch of stuff about a company to view.

Looks suspicious to me also. You can apply for a job if you want under the careers tab.

Innovo Services GmbH

Innovo Services GmbH is a world class import-export company with more than 250 employees worldwide. We focus on direct world-wide shipment of local market goods that arenít readily available in other countries. The main goals of "INNOVO SERVICES GMBH USA LLC" - US branch of Innovo Services GmbH are lowering the price of goods sold in Europe and Asia, the shipping of these goods to these markets and increasing the quality of service. We combine innovative policy and high professional competence in our activity offering a good remuneration and individual approach to each worker. Our company was established in 2003. We have all necessary permits and licenses for our activity.
Looks like some sort of multi-level marketing deal.

The address in Germany is legit. Itís a multi-story office building but they could have only a 150sf suite.

I donít like being manipulated!

Re: Has anyone ever heard of this company?

I would try calling them or e-mail and ask them straight up exactly what they do both in the USA and in Germany just to see if you get a straight answer. Perhaps they need people in the USA
