looks like they just grafted on a topper on a El Camanio and added a back seat.

Re: NICE '67 2 Door WAGON

Very nice! Even has sliding rear windows, like the '64-65 Chevelle 2-door wagons.

At least the seller is not calling it a rare FACTORY wagon.....

They don't say what it was built from, and no pic of the cowl tag.

Re: NICE '67 2 Door WAGON

If the doors are any indication, it was built from an El Camino.

That is done very well.
Just so happens that's in my neck of the woods. Probably a 45 minute drive. I might go and check it out if my work shuts down.

Re: NICE '67 2 Door WAGON

13335 VIN suggests it began as a 6 cyl. 300 Deluxe 4 door wagon. I do like the use of El Camino doors, gives it smooth lines. Looks to be a very nice conversion, maybe another Ken Memmel job, especially given it's proximity??
It does have one of my peeves, it isn't that hard to properly black out the grille extensions and headlight doors to match the SS grille.

Re: NICE '67 2 Door WAGON

Someone did a great job with this car! I couldn't guess at its worth, but I wouldn't agree with 50K.

A few things I don't like, though, like it looks like they properly used a semi gloss on the top of the dash, but the rest of the black interior painted metal is high gloss.
Too bad they didn't get the headliner correct. I know it's a well built custom car, but the headliner looks like amateur job.
And I don't like the woodgrain tailgate. Doesn't fit the look of the rest of the car.

Not 50k though.....did a hell of a nice job..theres a 66 2 door on/off Ca CL too done up just as nice.

I agree that car has to have AC. Wether its fabbed or not dont matter to me. I think I could live in it?
No use for a wagon but id drive it everywhere for sure. what a badazz cruiser. Needs a chrome roof rack thats it. and a tow hitch

Funny, that's one of the things I hate about 2-door wagon conversions, when they use EC doors. First off, it's lazy (EC doors are much easier to find) and it makes the B-pillar look disjointed and heavy. The true 2-door wagon B-pillar is more delicate looking and has parallel lines between the edge of the door and the leading edge of the slider. On that 67, the B-pillar kind of looks like an afterthought.

Re: NICE '67 2 Door WAGON

I like these two door wagon creations and at least this guy is honest about it. Unlike the 66 thatís been for sale forever.
WAY more than I would pay but thereís an a$$ for every seat.
I never really thought about the B pillar on the 65 vs one of these creations. I agree the original 65 looks better but probably would have been much tougher to recreate.
