Lung cancer

Any of you inmates deal with or have lung cancer? I was just diagnosed 3-8 20 just out of the blue, went to emergency room for back pain and was having a hard time breathing. They took a chest x-ray and there it was a 2" mass in my lung that has spread and is at stage 4. I am doing radiation and will start chemo in a week and a half. So radiation isn't agreeing with me but I just deal with the side effects, any tips or ways to deal with this? Thanks for letting me grip Bill (88502)

Re: Lung cancer

Sorry to hear that. Prayers for you.
Not trying to be cruel but you may want to put your affairs in order. Close friend of mine had same story last year. Was having trouble breathing and was diagnosed same as you. Lasted 3 weeks.

Re: Lung cancer

A good friend of my wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, she just finished Chemo & radiation therapy, her cancer is now in remission. It was a long hard process but the results were very successful & she is recovering nicely.
I know it may not help you a lot but it is proof there are some great advances in cancer research. Keep your chin faith up & in 6 months it will be just a memory.

Re: Lung cancer

I'm originally from Whittier, hospital there was good for many years, don't know how it is now.

I would do a couple of things, get the treatment, and investigate the best cancer Docs around.

Also, look into a group that has a few facilities, Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Those people are doing amazing things to cure, and extend quality life time.

Most important thing, DO NOT EVER GIVE UP, NOR IN TO THAT THING, FIGHT IT, BEAT IT.

There are a lot of people on this site, and others you go to, that will give you a lot of moral support, use it to help fight, and beat this thing, cancer ain't nothin' when it meets a fighter.

Re: Lung cancer

Dad had lung cancer at 80. I met with the oncologist and radiologist, and basically told them to destroy that thing. The radiologist said that he gave him as much radiation as a younger person. We went through many rounds of chemo. I don't know what stage it was, and really didn't care, but he beat it. You can beat yours, too! I wish you well!

Yes, one BIG tip that the majority will ignore and write off as quackery nonsense, but it works: Vitamin B-17 capsules (but you have to get them online, beause the FDA has stipped their sale from local vitamin stores, and pharmacies. They're still legal to buy over the net. My brother's prostate cancer was cured after four months taking one 500mg capsule twice per day, and without any side effects at all. This is merely a vitamin but the local stores are not allowed to sell it. Watch the 55 minite long video in the first link below.....send me a PM if you have any questions, (and NO I do not sell anything nor do I make any money from this).....

(just watch the first one from this link which is only 2:21 minutes long)
