what type of Chevelle would you like to build

I am sure most of us would like to build a real 70 SS LS6 convertible, a 65 Z16 or a L78 car. but what ones would you like to build just to have, maybe one GM never built.

For me I would like to build a 66 four door hard top with factory AC and Corvette spec L79 and four speed. interior I would use factory buckets and console with all the options. that would be a fun family car. second would be a 65 convertible with a corvette 65 fuel injection 327/375. A car GM should have built

I like your idea. Iíve been toying for years with an idea to make a crew cab el Camino out of a wagon. Iím a purists so getting the scale is important and making it look original is demanded.

A crew cab Camino. Never thought about one but if done right it would be cool. But it would be a fine line between good and ugly.

This is the one I’m “upgrading”. I’ve had 2-door 68s, 72 but I love this one, 66 4-door hardtop. 👍

Not building it to stock specs, all suspension, brakes, exhaust, steering, some interior was upgraded over the last 2 years - this year the 283, Powerglide, bench seat, and 10-bolt are coming out.

The trick is the wheel base and length of bed. Ive got a rendering I did in Photoshop that I like. It requires a wheelbase stretch. Iím guessing 4-6 inches to get the bed proportions correct.

Re: what type of Chevelle would you like to build

I'd love to build a '68-'72 Chevelle 2 Door Station Wagon in the traditional tri-5 Nomad-style.

Hardtop-style doors, shortened "box,.." I've got it all plotted out in my head... I just need the 100K to finance the build.

I'll provide my PayPal address for any contributors.

Re: what type of Chevelle would you like to build

3 or 4 door any yr with a mild BB 200r4 and ac

Been wondering how hard it would be to take a late 60s 75 Chevy/Ford truck and add maybe a foot to the cab..they just dont have enough leg room. How to do that without looking goofy? Not that I could afford it but-
Sure am spoiled by EC late models..
I heard Dodges got a little more room? Probably why I keep going back to 71-5 EC. Later ones have plenty but need to be smogged

Winter in NY is not like winter in CO or WY for our cars.
