Italian Supercar w Chevy 327

Hi guys i wanted to share this car i ve seen at a local car meet this weekend ; it was amazing , a hand made aluminum replica of the 1965 Iso Grifo A3/C ; i think the original one won its class in Le Mans and they drove it back home to italy straight from the track 1000 km ... Chevy power !

I like how functional the exhaust heat shields appear. Seems like a great idea.

Such cool looking sportcars in the early 60s, really setting the bar. The 250 gto and of course the e-type that surprised the Italians that a brit could design a car like Ferrari!

Got to watch those cold roadway surfaces, those tires will slide very easily.. I guess he doesn't worry about salt damage. That area looks like my area, Western Pennsylvania. That small block sounds so nice, they are one of the best sounding engines ever produced...

Cool. The VW (ratrod?) beside it looks like it is pretty neat too.

Re: Italian Supercar w Chevy 327

(as some of the Italian -Americans I grew up with "yoused" to say....)

MINGYA ! That's cool!

You can almost always tell Italian skin, is so beautiful. And then there was the first alloy Lamborghini head I saw "bare nakked" as a 17 yr old apprentice... like a pinUp girl she was...! for some reason iron pushrod V8 heads never did that to me!
