I’ll run my gas tank down to E and below. But I will never run a tire even close to that worn out.
Back in the 70s I used to run a tire truing machine. You can’t imagine how badly formed those old tires used to be. I loved running that machine. There were a few people that had us shave down new tires to 2/32” for racing to improve lateral stability. That was a pile of rubber.
My Italian grandfather called them dagoes. Day go thru rain, day go thru snow and when day go flat, day go "*** *** ***"
