Re: replacing HF compressor rings?

Its got the "fill before use" tag on it he admitted to not putting oil in it said its on you. Nice guy! I borrowed it, broke on me so now hes getting a new one.
Warranty is on me of course.

I never borrow anything but to simply use 1x to assemble some heads? Dont have 2 bills to blow right now
Staying home doesnt pay.

Re: replacing HF compressor rings?

I've seen some of your posts on here, and it's pretty clear you're going through a tough time. Your friend probably knew that, and yet he still pulls this kind of stunt? Some friend. That's like kicking someone when they're down, and it's pretty lame IMHO. At the very least he could offer to go half with you on the warranty to get the replacement as scalise71 said. I like Jblacks idea, but the problem with that might be is the UPC/Part number the same now as it was when he bought it? They change that stuff sometimes and that change could reflect the date of manufacture. In other words, they'll know you're trying to get new with an old one. I could very well be wrong, though. Either way, good luck to you with this and in general.

Trying this may add a legal problem to your existing problem.
