What is your favorite TV car show?

What is your favorite TV car show? I'll start...

Iron Resurrection. I think it's one of the better TV car shows. There's a good amount of actual work shown. Also it's nice to see the owner (Joe Martin) doing some of the work himself.

I liked Edd China on Wheeler Dealers, he just showed how to fix stuff, no drama, his partner not so much.

I like the Fast & Furious series of movies, great car chase scenes, and a good amount of action that goes along with it.

Re: What is your favorite TV car show?

I like Full Custom Garage with Ian R. He moves along quickly and can figure things out pretty quick. I don't know how he can see what he sees when he puts a piece of metal on the roof of a car, but it comes out pretty cool... I don't see any other workers at his shop, but not sure if he really works alone...

I also like Garage Squad because they do everything start to finish and they do a lot of work in the week they are at the house...

I liked Dream Car Garage with Peter Klutt. Not much on the detailed restoration side, but the rare car knowledge was excellent

any of them but the show with Mopars, they're a bunch of drama queens

Yeah, we're runnin' a little bit hot tonight,
I can barely see the road from the heat comin' off,
You know what I'm sayin',
Ahh, you reach down, put it between my legs 'n
ease the seat back,
She's runnin', I'm flyin',
Right behind in the rear view mirror now,
Got the fearin', power steerin',
Pistons poppin', ain't no stoppin' now,
PANAMA!

Re: What is your favorite TV car show?

I always preferred shows that focus on the mechanics/tech - actual doing things. Not drama. For now, the Power Nation group of shows are still at the top of my list. I also like Garage Squad - but even there they put in way too much fake drama. I was a big fan of Roadkill and HotRod Garage when they were on Youtube, then MT pulled the plug on all that. What is shown on MT TV are hacked up versions to fit a 30 or 60 minute time slot, and I'm not yet sold on the idea of subscribing.

So... lately most of my car "TV" comes from You Tube.
Finnegans Garage
Mighty Car Mods
Skid Factory
Cold War Motors
Lucky's Garage Show

and a few others.

That was a good show! It's too bad about his co-host Tom Hnatiw (RIP 2012). He always got "stuck" reviewing the quirky oddball stuff. And his tag line: "Do you need a car like this? No. Do you want a car like this???" Of course we wanted a car like that!

Peter's later show - Legendary MotorCar - just isn't the same.

Edd was supposedly launching his own show on You Tube, but it's been over a year (maybe 2 now?) since the last hint of any activity.

I don't think it's on anymore, but I liked the early episodes of Legendary Motorcar he was in. They had quite a bit of hands on stuff. Another one was Restoration Garage in the early days--some of those guys were real craftsmen.

Re: What is your favorite TV car show?

I would say Roadkill. I do like Wheeler Dealers, Chasing Classic Cars and Full Custom Garage. It is a great time to be a gearhead. None of these shows existed when I first became interested in cars. If you wanted to see old cars, you were limited to the Dukes of Hazzard.
