Got the ride height I want. Now I need wheels

I figure if I get 12Ē wheels, maybe 13s in the rear, Iím good to go!
As long as I avoid paint on the road like crosswalks, stop signs, arrows, etc, I shouldn't scrape and will be good to go. The wheels will have to be zero backspace to clear my disc brakes but thatís minor, right?

How high is the frame off of the ground? Is it on bags?
What is your preferred wheel color?

You can go lower.

I have to jack my car up with a floor jack just to get the arms for the lift under the frame.

Re: Got the ride height I want. Now I need wheels

We really dont know how low it is until the wheels and tires are on it. My 67 has 13" from the inner wheel well to the lip on the 1/4 so I don't think a 12" wheel will clear let alone a 13 unless you modified the wheelhouse/frame.

Iím thinking 12x4 fronts and 13x5 rears. Tires from a go cart may work if Vogue makes with gold side walls. Zero back space on the rims so they still look deep dish, gold wire spokes, silver rims.

I'm confused. Really 12" diameter rims? Or 12 " width with a 4" backspace?

I like it,I think you're gonna start a new trend.I can see it now...12 inch tall wheels that're 15 inches wide, with rubber band 30 series tires, awesome

I took it as he just dropped the lift, saw a picture opportunity and shared as tongue in cheek. He said nothing about low riders. Jesus, I'll be ecstatic when this offending trend is over with. Oh, whoops, can't use Jesus. God! Nope, might make someone cry with that one too.. Golly gee, it'll be a good day when emotions are tucked in, people focus on real problems, and people get back to doing things that really matter..
