It is ugly, but it seems like it has some cool features.

Re: Tesla truck

Yeah, like the new feature of armor glass windows that shattered during its introduction from someone throwing a metal ball at them. With the vehicle being this ugly, I don't think any other truck manufacturers will have anything to fear. The Rivian truck will sell WAY better than this ugly thing.

The electric pick up does make a lot of sense. Batteries can be under the bed. Torque values can be extremely impressive. It’s just a matter of time before the big three offer there versions.

I don't disagree. But why do manufacturers make electric vehicles extra ridiculous looking? I think a standard F150 that's been electrified, would sell way better than this Tesla, based on looks alone.

The virtue-signalling buyers of electric cars really want to be noticed.

Re: Tesla truck

If they are going to build a truck, build something that can fill a need, like a cargo van or pick up.

Re: Tesla truck

I know we have all heard the phrase "function before beauty" but that thing is just over the top butt Fugly. Looks like it escaped from the movie set of "Death Race 2019". I'll just keep driving my restored 71 Chevy 4x4 when I need a truck.

On the plus side, the Tesla truck makes the "910 lb.ft of ugly" 2020 Silverado HD almost good looking. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/auto...ent-id=BBPYIu7

Re: Tesla truck

Looks like something that was made in the 1960s to represent vehicles of the future.

Re: Tesla truck

I had a shell on my PU, ended up taking it off. Too much of a hassle when you had to haul big stuff. This is more like a ugly station wagon.
