Yeah, like the new feature of armor glass windows that shattered during its introduction from someone throwing a metal ball at them. With the vehicle being this ugly, I don't think any other truck manufacturers will have anything to fear. The Rivian truck will sell WAY better than this ugly thing.
The electric pick up does make a lot of sense. Batteries can be under the bed. Torque values can be extremely impressive. It’s just a matter of time before the big three offer there versions.
I don't disagree. But why do manufacturers make electric vehicles extra ridiculous looking? I think a standard F150 that's been electrified, would sell way better than this Tesla, based on looks alone.
I know we have all heard the phrase "function before beauty" but that thing is just over the top butt Fugly. Looks like it escaped from the movie set of "Death Race 2019". I'll just keep driving my restored 71 Chevy 4x4 when I need a truck.
On the El Camino forum they have a special thread for ugly conversions of not really an El Camino vehicles.
This should surely take top honors there now!
And Elon flunked his IQ test, he was "Surprised" that a solid steel ball the size of a baseball would break the windows.
Seems he must not have actually read or understood Owens Corning engineers description of their product.

Also, as to all those marvelous performance claims, Fast, Long Range, or Heavy Load, pick ONE per trip!
Reminds me of the F117 Nighhawk (AKA Stealt Fighter) from the first Gulf War. Wonder what it has for a radar signature? Stealth might be useful against police radar guns.
Well, if the choice is just between those two, the F*rd starts looking pretty good.
