re: What happened to BillsCamino? (Wild Bill)

I am not a regular on here like some of you other guys, but it may be him that I remember selling his chevelle/el camino. I could be wrong about that. Maybe he just got a little burnt out with the hobby. This is one of the few sites that I have ever regularly kept up with that is more a community than just a forum. It seems that people ask questions about a lot more than chevelles on here, and people here are genuinely helpful. I think that its awesome that people notice when someone stops posting.

I talked to Bill several weeks ago and he and Anne were doing fine. And it's true that they have been doing a lot of traveling. He is a retired Delta Airline maintenance supervisor. Consequently, he and Anne get to fly FREE anywhere that Delta goes ------------------------- I DON'T BLAME HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: What happened to BillsCamino? (Wild Bill)

He hasnt owned a Chevelle in years. I think I ticked him off after his " join the 21st century like me" reply to a Holley thread I had running. Didnt realize he had such thin skin but should've known and not been so harsh. My bad.

Maybe him and "Footbraker1320" had a gun shootout over that used E-bay Alf Weibe suspension that Bill lost out on after he won the bid.

Yep I hear ya man. I meant no offense. it was a raw deal that Bill got, (or actually didn't get), and it was just some Chevelle board nostalgia. Nothing more. Gene knows what I meant.

I've been on both sides. I try to remember we are all on here to have fun.. I find it best to just put troublemakers in the ignore box...

Re: What happened to BillsCamino? (Wild Bill)

I was also wondering how well he is coming along after his stroke a year or 2 ago. It sounded debilitating, yet he kept up appearances here.

Anyway, Bill is a great guy. It wouldn't surprise me if he is on a trip around the world.
