The owner of that car needs to get some more white paint on it very soon. Will the cops be checking Craigslist for their stuff soon? Or maybe the pawn shops, too.
A little round of polite applause for a job well done is in order.

That black fender is whatís going to get him caught. If it was a generic non-descript 4 door without any distinguishing features heíd probably get away with it.

Stole a speed camera? The man is a hero!

Put me on the jury, please!

Stolen from the people, not the police because taxes will pay for a replacement.

That is small potatoes compared to what police steal from the people. We can deal with this.

Re: I got a good laugh out of this.

A few years back when photo radar was introduced in the city where I used to live, some guys stole the license plate off the photo radar vehicle, put it on their car and sped through the speed trap a bunch of times. A few weeks later, the police got a bunch of speeding tickets in the mail.

Funny how some get mad at the messenger and not the people who make the laws. The shallow end of the gene pool seams to get less and less all the time.

Maybe the cops can get a picture of the stuff put on the side of a milk carton with the words "Have you seen me?" That should help.

The police are probably happy that they are getting new equipment from the tax payers.

Re: I got a good laugh out of this.

Reminds me of a couple of months ago here. You know those lighted signs on the side of the road that can be programed to flash road conditions.Someone got into it one on a Friday night and reprogrammed it to say "VOTE FOR TRUMP IN 2020!"It stayed that way all weekend and as you can imagine some people liked it and some people didn't
And no it was not me.

Re: I got a good laugh out of this.

Many decades ago a friend lived in an upstairs flat across from the Police-Fire-Emergency station in our small town. One night at the intersection nearby, a classmate in a '70 Mustang convertible did a nice burnout onto the main street right past the Police station. What's this, there's a cop asleep in the squad car at the station, but he wakes right up, throws the car into gear and takes off in hot pursuit - in the wrong direction!
