Are you kidding?????????????????????????
That is so subjective, it is impossible to say. SOOOOOOOOOOOO many people have SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many tastes and desires that and opinions will be all over the place.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, since you asked I like the 70, 67, 65 in that order---------------with each one being a microscopic inch apart-------------tough for me to choose.

And they are all worthless if they do not have a trailer hitch!

Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

I like them all, but '66 and '70 are my favorites...

'64 and '69 are my least favorites. I'd still take one, but just something personally I guess...

IMO, they both(64/69) have taillights that are too large...

Every time we've done this 70 has been the winner.

'66 and '69 tied for best...then '67, '65 and '68. '70 is last...front end is too square and so are the quarter windows.

Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

I'll jump into the minority and say that of all the years, 70 is my least favorite.

My most favorites are tied - a 67 or a 71/72.

Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

This is about as pointless/baseless of a post as can be. There is no REAL answer....and the question has been asked so many times that it pains me to hear it asked again.

Might as well argue over the hottest Victoria Secret's model or Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.

That said, 1969 is the answer, preferably in Lemans Blue.

Now, resale wise.....1970 commands the biggest premium. 1968 is often the cheapest 64-72 Chevelle. IMHO, 64 and 65 play second best to the GTO.

Let the bullets fly.......

My favorite too BUT a 70 with a 71-72 rear bumper would be the best looking Chevelle.

Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

FWIW, at the NOCC show, the least represented years are 1968, 1964, and 1965.

There have been years when there are noticeably few '68s. (The cars are often parked/lined up by year.)

Don't get me wrong. if the tooth fairy dropped off a '68 in my drive, I'd be happier than a pig in s**t, as the saying goes.

I get where you're coming from, Dean. I too love the 71 & 72 taillights. But I have mixed emotion when I see that conversion done....not that I really begrudge the owner, per se.

So, I keep things simple and just say that 1971 is my second favorite year....which happens to be when I was born.

(I'm on '69 Malibu #2 right now, that I plan on being driven to the cemetery in. But my next Chevelle will probably be a '71 SS with deck stripes and BBC.)
