Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

My vote is based on my current collection of 66, 68 and 71. I also like the 65's, not a fan of 69 or 70's. To each their own, that is the great thing about the USA, we can make choices.

Re: This debate came up today... What year is the best looking?

I'd say 67, but I like 66 Interior 2 tone seats better, and then 68. The 64,65 just seem so much older, in everything GM except maybe the Riviera. And after 68 the plastics really started kicking in. Now I agree that a 70 approaching in the rear view mirror is about as intimidating as it gets, but for the pure classic feel, 68 and older.

I don't think that there's any "right" or "wrong" here…It's just a mattrer of personal taste so every year is good.

Agreed 100% I have zero issues with butchering up a 70-72 Chevelle with aftermarket gauges, seats, wheels and what not. I would never dream of doing those things to a 68 and older Chevelle.

66, 70 has highest value only because of 454.
