There are probably 1000 times more of them than we will ever know.

Around here the sun has to come out.
Then you will always see one or two out for a scoot.
Its cool when you pass each other with dual thumbs up. lol

Yep, don't see hardly any being driven around anymore unless there is a car show or a cruise-in going on.

Where are you at??
When I am in Bakersfield I usually see a few, mine has been sitting for an entire year now, but I also live out of state at the moment.

We run a Saturday evening poker run weekly as long as the weather is decent. Show cars to rat rods welcome. draw a card at each stop winner gets a bucket full of car care products bought with donations from the participants. My 68 SS Chevelle is a daily driver hot rod, not show car.

Re: No old iron on the st anymore?

Well in my case I miss seeing 63 to 67 Corvettes on the road. For a time probably between 74 and 85 I was into those era Vettes. They used to be all over with many being driven by people my same age. They had a sound all their own. Now I'm lucky if I see one or two on the road a year now. They are all in garages on pedestals now.

Re: No old iron on the st anymore?

Probably see at least one or two old cars or trucks on the road a day here in the summer. I try to drive mine at least once a week to work.

Re: No old iron on the st anymore?

I've seen quite a few out since the weather turned recently. At least one a day, during normal traffic times. Split bumper second gen Camaro, 67-72 shortbed, a 'Cuda, 54-55 Chevy pickup, several more.

Took my 73 Camaro on an 80 mile trip up to the weekend place. Past a 4 door corvair with a mountain bike on the roof. 80 miles back tomorrow. My cars probably wont take any trophys. They were meant to be driven.
