yard sale score of the weekend.

not car related, but still a good deal. guys moving and didnt want to move his reloading equipment. Lee progressive and I a single stage rcbs reloading press with all the extras. dies, case tumbler, scales, powder dispensers, case trimmers, etc. .357 shells, bullets, primers, powders, for $100
I was actually watching a bunch of reloading videos the last few weeks. just didnt want to spend the money for all the equipment.
then theres a meade etx60 telescope. I think I can use it as a spotting scope, look at the moon with it. or just flip it. I used to have a telescope when I was a kid. amazing how small and these things auto rotate with the earths revolution. jim

At least you didn't have to sell a car to make room for it.

Cool find, I need to look for stuff like that. Years ago I had a Lee 1000 for my .44 Redhawk I used to have. I even wrote a couple apps to help with the double disc kit for quick look up of measures and to expand the table that came with it.

Jim, you're going to save a ton of cash rolling your own. It does take time though. Helps us get thru those cold winter nights up here.

Gene the little bit of ammo I have, I rarely go shooting so it's going to last me the next 20 years at least. Now with this set up, I'll probably buy a few pounds of pistol and rifle powder, primers and projectiles and be good for a lifetime. jim

Good score.

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Re: yard sale score of the weekend.

That's a pretty good score Jim! As a loader myself, I can tell you, you don't save a dime reloading, you only shoot more.

Happy loading.

P.S. One of the most important tools in loading is knowledge, buy a few reloading manuals, and be safe!

That is an excellent buy. If bought separately would cost a ton more.

Where do you find all these? I'd spend a fortune in gas looking for them, lol. Sounds like something I could get interested in but I'd spend more in gas than I could find, lol.
