Was it good stuff? If so I must have made it.

All the way up to -20 today. Forecast for -49 tonight, ouch freeze em right off that brass monkey. If I think that would be an all time record -46 is it now I think.

Re: Here comes the COLD!!!

I was out walking the Malamute a 1/2 hour ago in negative 24 and it was not too bad...my face got a little cold though...I also had one of our Huskies in our fenced in area and played with her...and burned garbage in the fire pit...I was outside for about an hour. It was tolerable at 24 below because there is no wind chill tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to get up to zero degrees which will be super nice, if you can imagine that!

Re: Here comes the COLD!!!

Not as cold as a lot of you here in SE Michigan. I read -15 F this morning around 5:45am But it's supposed to be 50 F by Sunday/Monday.??? WTF

In northern Minnesota they are seeing near 60 below with wind chills. Get stranded in a car somewhere in the sticks, and you would not last long.
Thats pretty terrifying. I dont think I would leave the house if the weather were to get that bad.

Re: Here comes the COLD!!!

Surprising how good 0 feels compared to -45. All back to normal, for here anyway.

Re: Here comes the COLD!!!

Wednesday killed the battery in my truck.
2 year old battery, shows 12V but load test amperage is just above 0.

Had to put the 20-year-old Optima from my Chevelle in it to get to work... that one hasn't really been in cold weather, so I don't know if it will get me through the winter.
