Photobucket question

Is it possible to transfer a pic in ones Photobucket library anywhere without paying a fee? In other words could I send one to my email, or is it just displaying in another website or website hosting they want paid for?

Re: Photobucket question

I downloaded my entire PB album to a thumb drive ( and closed it) and I can use them anywhere for free.

Re: Photobucket question

You can also down load them back to your PC.

I'm curious about how to do it.
PB tells me I can download an album but I've tried to do it about fifteen times and it says "downloading" but no dice.

Maybe you can log on as me?

After finding out they want $400 a year I did the same thing.

I never had that much on PB, but in protest I tried to do the same thing, and got the same response. So after going through every computer in the house, I found all the pictures I had put on PB, put them on a Thumb Drive and deleted them all from PB and closed my account. Then I got a series of emails from PB and finally had to go back and unsubscribe from their mailing list. All the years I had the account, you could count the emails on one hand, I close the account and get flooded. Good riddance.

Ideas are like children: there are none so wonderful as your own.

Re: Photobucket question

I have several albums on photobucket but only one I wanted to save because I can't find them on any of my computers so I guess they must have been on one hard drive that went by by,

Re: Photobucket question

Dean, do you recall seeing a post by me about about downloading whole folders of stuff from PB quickly? I think it was in the admin section.

Re: Photobucket question

I created an account at tinypic, and was able to transfer my pics from PB directly to tinypic.

Yes, I am aware, what does that matter, I can still post pictures to the forums I belong to for free, at least for now.

When you get to upload images and videos, under file type, click on url. Have your PB account open in another tab, then copy and paste the URL to tinypics. It takes a little time, but I was able to transfer all my pics.
