Bill, are you talking about whether Shaun chose a T56 or 4L80 or the results of the poll? The poll results are at the top. There were a 153 voters and 105 (68.63%) said T56 vs 48 (31.37%) said 4l80e.

Personally I was going to go 4L80 on my '67 and even had one but then decided I need the "man pedal" so I went with a close ratio T56 and 3:42 gears. The gearing is almost the same as a M22 close ratio muncie with 4.11s in first gear and I should be cruising at about 1900 - 2000 rpm at 70 mph. A close ratio muncie with 4.11:1s comes in at 9.042:1 overall in first gear vs my T56 with 3.42:1s comes in at 9.0972:1 overall in first gear.
