A very strong standard Six, an extra-cost 454-cubic-inch performance engine and important refinements under the hood make the Chevelle power parade more impressive than ever. All engines have Controlled Combustion System exhaust emission control--newly improved with transmission-controlled vacuum spark advance. There's a super-durable exhaust system and tapered-pitch fan for Turbo-Jet V8 engines. Both Six and Turbo-Jet V8 use self-sealing slimline spark plugs. And if all this doesn't move you, read on.
