They strip with fine plastic to remove the paint, as plastic does not heat up the metal. Then he went over it with extremely fine sand. The car is excellent! Anyone thinking of buying a car from the southwest here is some motivation!!! I had a rot box car and then picked up this one from a fellow teamchevelle member. Well worth the trip! Put 2 quarters and outer wheelwells on, that's it!!
