Here\'s a few pics of my 69. Originally a 396/325 Oshawa built car it now has a 427 (454 block/427 crank) 11:1 pistons, Comp. solid cam, Edelbrockoval port heads, Air Gap, M.S.D., 870 S/A Carb, etc. It has a 3000 stall, Transgo T-400 and 410:1 12 bolt posi. The nice pics are actually the before pics and the one with the new 1/4s installed is where the car is now. Started to do a repaint last winter and found some issues with the 1/4s and decided to do it rightand replace them with full 1/4s. Some genius years ago had actually put a lower quarter panel OVER TOP OF the original! Also decided to strip the entire car to bare metal. Should have the car in primer within the next week. Nicely optioned car with p/w, p/locks, tilt, AM/FM, bumper guards, etc. Using Standox paint system/ color will again be Cortez silver with black stripe. Chances of the car being ready this summer are slim as my bodyman is slow as they come. He actually lives in his shop and works on my car when the mood strikes him, which isn\'t very often as it\'s taken him 6 weeks to do the 1/4s alone! But, his work is the best I have seen so I guess I should not complain. Oh well at least I have my bike to play with this summer!
