Factory 1971 LS-3 402 as installed in the Camaro SS396. Note dual snorkel air cleaner (shared with LS-5 1971/72 Chevelles without cowl induction or a/c). Unique air cleaner decal was 1971-only. It said 396 on Camaros, 400 on Chevelles & big B-bodies. I have also seen 402 decals.
Chrome lid in 1971; for '72 no chrome or decals.
