Pros: excellent fit, good finish, and reasonable price
Cons: lacks some definition of the original bumper

I recently added a Goodmark front bumper to my 70 Chevelle. The fit was excellent and for the price is a very good product. If you are doing a high point original car you will probably want to rechrome an original however. The repro bumper chrome is fine for a nice driver or local show car but the finish on mine was slightly wavy, not bad, but not perfect chrome either. On the underside there were a couple of additional mounting holes that were not on my original bumper. However original bumpers may also have varied between plants, I'm not sure. If you have a nice driver and want to improve the appearance of the front end and want to save some money over rechroming this is a nice option. If your current bumper is straight and you plan to do a high point car, you would probably want to rechrome the original.

Pros: Great chrome finish, and pretty close to orginal
Cons: Had to "drill" holes for my SS emblem

I replaced my 71' orginal SS with a goodmark rear bumper this summer.
As mentioned, had to drill holes for my SS emblem. I had it done at a machine shop ($20), due to worrying about chipping the chrome. It would be nice if the holes were pre-drilled for SS models or as an option-Small detail, but something to consider. Also, the edges of the chrome where sharp, instead of nice and rounded like OEM. A little lighter gauge than orginal, but that is expected. Other than that, the quality was very good, matched the details and concurves the best that I have seen. I took the orginal and placed in the rafters for future chroming (est. over $300), etc. I am going to replace my front bumper this winter, and again store the orginal in the rafters.
