I brush painted my new crate 350 with this paint in 1997. I pulled the motor last weekend, (April 09) degreased & hosed it off. The paint still looks great. Adhearing to block & it has a nice shine.
I did have to put on several coats, especially in the rough casting areas. The paint flowed into the valley between the peaks. And the peaks still showed thru. But they did cover after 3 coats. Also painted the sheetmetal pan and it also looks good. I'll use POR again.

That's great, good to know. 3 years later and my paint is peeling off already. This winter I plan to pull the engine and repaint. I'll use POR
