My Chevelle was special ordered by Quint Justice, and delivered to Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego California on April 28th, 1967. Quint owned the Chevelle for 24 years and sold it to me in January of 1991. The car was then 'restored' by myself and we have been enjoying it ever since.
I have made every attempt to keep things original (when possible) and have installed the original style battery, dated plug wires, correct bolts, clips etc. It has been driven to lots of shows and used for holidays. Super Chevy in Seattle twice, (1st runner up!), Hot August Nights in Reno (twice), Edmonton Alberta, 100 Mile House BC (look that one up), Oregon Coast, San Francisco and many other places. I believe that these cars should be driven and enjoyed, that's why we have a winter, so they can be fixed up again.
The engine looks completely stock, but inside is a set of .030 TRW's at 10.5 -1, custom camshaft, roller rockers, Stainless Steel oversize valves with hardened seats (for unleaded), true roller timing chain, baffles windage trays etc. Of course the whole thing is Balanced and 'printed.
One unusual fact about the car is that is does not have tinted glass! Quint assumed that when he ordered the Air, that the glass would come tinted....It was an option too!

Will have to update these puppies!

I hope that you enjoy your ride as much as we have enjoyed ours! Thanks and take care. Al
