So far the least expensive complete kit I have found is $619.00. Has any one found one at a better price? Thanks again for all your help guys!

Is that the guy in Ohio? You could look on eBay (if you haven't done that already), I have seen another guy selling similar kits. If I remember correctly, he was in the same ballpark, so you might be able to use that to haggle a bit.

I got my spindles for 100 and all together, including new flex hoses I have about 350 in mine from Autozone.

I was going to mention what Yenko said. Just buy a set of spindles and get the rest at the parts store. Im thinking around 500 bucks to put it together but I havent actually tried. My 66 already had 70 discs already on it.

Or, modify your spindles and get everything else at Autozone. Caliper brackets are $85 at our sponsor. GroundUp.

![]() Even if you can modify your spindles like Cam Sweet says, I doubt that it really pays off to buy the rest from Autozone. If you want to save money, I'd say that a cheap but complete used setup would be the best start, so you can use calipers, m/c, booster etc for cores, or even rebuild them yourself. Used (or modified) spindles, caliper brackets and dust shields (if you can find them) is probably the best way to save money if you want to use new parts for the wear items.

As always I appreciate all the input. Sounds like if I want the job to be somewhat headache free, w/o a lot of running around, and spending time searching I should just buy the complete kit. By the way I've posted another topic, which has had no replies, It looks like when I install a booster it will hit my wiper motor an shift linkage on the coloum. Can anyone help me here? Thanks AGAIN,
Brian |

PM me if you need pix of the installation in my -69. I have a column shifter too, and there are no clearance problems.
