Can anyone advise me if a complete disc brake set-up from a 1977 malibu will bolt on to a 1968-1972 chevelle? I realize the frames are different but I need help with the front suspension. Thanks in advance.

The short answer is; no it is not a direct bolt in
. You have tall spindles. Go to this link for a good explaination how you can make it work . http://www.chevelles.com/techref/ftecref2.html . Also do a search for disc brakes or tall spindles. There have been numerous discussions about this. Finally, welcome to the best chevelle site on the web. ------------------ Rick (Abilene Texas) 72 El Camino TPI 350/700r4 Aces #00140 TEAM CHEVELLE #00038 |

If you go this route. Malibu Performance works a ball joint kit for putting 70-81 Camaro disc spindles into a 68-72 Chevelle for $175. I think the Malibu spindles are the same.
