Can anyone advise me if a complete disc brake set-up from a 1977 malibu will bolt on to a 1968-1972 chevelle? I realize the frames are different but I need help with the front suspension. Thanks in advance.

The short answer is; no it is not a direct bolt in . You have tall spindles. Go to this link for a good explaination how you can make it work . http://www.chevelles.com/techref/ftecref2.html .

Also do a search for disc brakes or tall spindles. There have been numerous discussions about this.

Finally, welcome to the best chevelle site on the web.

If you go this route. Malibu Performance works a ball joint kit for putting 70-81 Camaro disc spindles into a 68-72 Chevelle for $175. I think the Malibu spindles are the same.
