i have a 67 chevelle with power drum brakes i want to convert to frt. discs. do i have to change the power booster and master cyl.i know i have to add a metering valve,and what about the disteribution block can i use my original one

Yes you must change the master cylinder. Disc brakes use a larger volume of fluid to work. A disc specific master cylinder moves more fluid than a drum M/C.

yes on the need for a proportioning valve and the distribution block can not be used, unless you go with the early style proportioning valve.
