'67 as you know, was the first year this option was available on our musclecar of choice. My right front caliper started leaking so off to Florida Caliper for a rebuild (stainless steel inserts, new o-ring system, etc.). Problem now, where do you find the proper disc brake pads? Reason - the guy at FLorida Caliper (in business for 20 years)was shocked to see my calipers only had a 1 7/8" bore on the pistons. He said this was typical for an F-body car (Camaro, etc) but would have expected to see 2 1/16" bores on mine (chevelle being much heavier). Local NAPA store had a part number for a Raybro pad but could not pull it up in the machine to order i.e. discontinued? Also, Ecklers Corvette is right up the road from my house in Titusville, FLA and they could not help me out much either since it was not a "true" Corvette part. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? A pad is a pad so just order from Ground Up or Year One? My car was built the 3rd week of April, 1967 so kinda late in the production run. Do pads for a 2 1/16" bore and 1 7/8" bore caliper interchange? It is summertime and I can go fast, just cannot stop. Help!!!!

I do not know for sure, but in my opinion I think that the 2 different bore sizes would use the same pad. Try a listing for a 67 Camaro with disc brakes. Also try a different auto parts store that carries another brand other than Raybestos.

Thanks Bob. I called Vette brakes in Tampa today and they said the same thing - D3's is what I wanted and they had them in stock. I'm rolling again this weekend!!!
