A divorce has sidetracked a restoration of my 65 Chevelle convertible from the early 90's to now-during the early 90's there was a company called H-O Racing Specialties that offered everything needed to adapt the disc brakes from 70-81 Camaros and Firebirds[special ball joints and tie rod ends]to 64-65 Chevelles-their selling point was that the later model spindles raised the car's roll center from 2 inches below ground level to 2 inches above ground level-which greatly improves the car's handling.
I bought a disc brake set-up from a 79 Camaro, and it has set in my garage until now. The H-O Company now seems to be out of business, which makes their conversion kit unavailable.
Does anyone out there have any information on the best way to hopefully still use these later discs on my 65 Chevelle? I know that 66-72 Chevelle discs are a direct fit, but they supposedly do not improve handling like the later spindles do.
Thanks,
Gary

Yes the conversion joints are still availible from Malibu Performance for $175. I am going that route my self. I have a different number though 602-272-4085, ask for Steve.

Hey any chance you have any pictures of your spindles? I was trying to identify my tall spindles.
