Default 1966 chevelle weatherstripping

I am getting ready to order my weatherstripping for my 66.I see a lot of people use soft seal,but i was looking to see what other products people have used?Metro,soft seal,trim parts. Good and bad things with each product.I will need to order the complete kit,also where you bought it.

Softseal works well for most everything. Metro makes a softer door seal which you won't have to break-in. I use Softseal on everything and it took a year or so for the door seals to allow the door to close with 2 fingers.

Metro. I purchase mine through Hinshaw's Chevelle in NC, James is a great resource for parts and information.

Years ago Softseal seemed not so soft so I switched to Metro. Nice stuff and I was happy with it but a few years ago a customer bought a Softseal kit for his car and brought it to me to use on his car. Much to my surprise it was a lot softer than they used to be so I've been using Softseal ever since. You can't go wrong with either but I would lean toward Softseal.
