Default 1969 El Camino SS396 4 Speed Project

I found this in western illinois this weekend, and it ended up being for sale, so i dragged it out of the field and brought it home. I dont have the room, time or money to do another restoration so im gonna pass it to the next guy. Im just curious as to what you guys think it may be worth.....heres a few pictures.

I would say around 2K is pretty realistic.

Floors are toast, frame is fixable, body needs work. 396 core motor was included. But i may hold onto that. I was thinking 2-2500. So i dont seem to be too far off

I agree in the 2K give or take range. I would have loved to have found that and switched dashes with my 69 Chevelle SS that did not come with the tach and gauges. Good luck with the sale.

Any brackets? The AC and PS brackets can change everything.

Not seeing the 2gs in our area. There was a guy that parted out a running driving 71 SS el camino. He paid $650 for it because the guy couldn't sell it complete. Car had gauges and an ss hood, discs, 350/350 and was matching numbers. Body was WAY better than the 69. El caminos do not sell for any kind of cash in our area.

That car parts out at around $2k.

SS hood
5500 redline tach dash
12-bolt
disc brakes
bucket seats
BB steering shaft

If there's any other BB or 4spd parts to go with it, there's a little more money.

...and that's just the beginning, lots of little goodies left, pedals, dash components, trim, tailgate, floor shift column, seatbelts, and any other sheetmetal that's savable. It's sad to think of a classic in such a way but sometimes the lack of interest just forces that hand.

I'll trade you my running 84 Elcamino w/a bunch of Monte Carlo SS parts installed heads up for your 69 ElCamino.I don't need the 396 block unless its the OE motor, then we can swap blocks too.

Sadly someone already grabbed the 12 bolt. He gave me a bunch of pulleys and the pump is tied up under the hood. I believe the 396 block is dated 73. It's a 2 bolt high performance pass car block.....no thanks on the 84

To me it is worth 50% of what it will part out for. I ain't working for free.

I paid $1500 for a 69 SS Elkie parter. Here is what it had. Hood, AC/PS brackets and pump. 12 bolt, 67 427 with 5 date, TH 400, 063 69 heads, correct intake and water pump, correct flywheel and everything else that I think takes too long to sell.
