I have a problem, I need a new passangers side bucket seat for my 69 chevelle. I have a set from a 1970 chevelle but the passanges side is shot. I have located another seat a single one for sale but it is a drivers side. Are there any differences between the seats besides the tracks. can I use this seat or will it not work. Thanks

Will be difficult to move the seat backwards and forward won't it? The release on the drivers side is on the left and passenger side is on the right.

On a 71 Monte Carlo I once owned, I installed a passenger bucket seat on the driver's side, by using my original driver's seat tracks and bolting them onto the new passenger seat. This should work on a 69 seat also.

The only differences between 69 and 70 seats are the covers. There are no "left" and "rights". Use the driver's side seat tracks and it'll be fine.
