On this car I did a 4.50 front and 5.75 rear backspace.

Saw that on Facebook a couple weeks ago I think, great looking car.

I think I would prefer it on 18s all around and wide in the back but still nice.

I have a 1971 El Camino with 18X8 and 18X10's that set up works really well, I'll post some pics of that later.

If you want a perfect look you must paint because powder coating them will never match quite right!

I didn't forget...many people had not seen it and it is still helpful for the guys setting up their Chevelle! That is why I offered the fitments.

IT holds up very well if properly prepped. Like any paint rocks don't agree with it!

I'm kinda interested in these wheels. It's hard to do a larger wheel on these cars without it looking funny and these look pretty good. Definitely better than the other wheels you had on the car. A few questions. 1. How far is the car lowered from stock front/rear in this pic? 2. Do you drive at that height, or is that height for parking only? 3. Are those fenders and quarters flaired out around the wheel? If so how'd you do that? 4. What's the largest width tire/rim you can do with no issues with the stock lip/rear? What backspacing would I need? 5. Can you get this look without the airbags without issues? 6. Did you run into any problems with ground clearance or tires rubbing? 7. I looked at the prices of these things. Most importantly do you have any big sales?

Hi Mark:
This car is on airbags, but I have a 71 that is lowered 2.5" with Hotchkis parts. You can drive lowered and NO the fenders have no flare. A 10" rim that is 11" wide is he widest without modifications.

Give me a call and we can discuss your set up and make sue that you have no issues, I have done a bunch of Chevelles. We do not usually have sales this time of year. Brad/bonspeed 714.666.1999
