Default 1970 SS396 To Good To Be True?

In my local Terre Haute,Indiana paper classifieds yesterday and today, with small pic.
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396/350HP,Original $7400 OBO.(765)396-8700 call for details and gave an email also.
Pic shows a black, white stripes and cowl induction hood, with original SS wheels.Very good looking car.Called and left a message. Havent heard back.
Is this:
A.Too good to be true?
B. A scam (send me a grand and I will hold it for you)
C.A guy who knows what its really worth and wants to be stroked.
D.?

I already bought it and I'm not interested in selling it for anything less than $182,395.99
sorry bud you're too late

The part I cannot figure out is why they arrived at the $7400 price? If they put something more realistic, like $17,500, they would probably get more suckers to send the deposit.

Its at least a landline in Eaton....that could be encouraging.
if its legit, there are plenty of reasons why its $7400

Google the landline for the address and do a drive by to see if you can see it. Never know.

whenever I see post like this I kind of laugh. Im a firm believer in you snooze you lose. It doesnt cost anything to call and worst case you waste a couple hours driving to look at a pile of junk, BUT if you dont go you'll never know. A few years back there was a 69 Z28 advertised in the paper for $700. Been sitting, no title but the guy was willing to give a bill of sale etc. I went and looked at it and it wasnt a Z28 but a SS350 with a 4 speed,12 bolt and a SS hood. I could not talk my wife into letting me drag it home that night. I heard from another guy that called the next morning that it was sold by 6 am. (only reason I got there first was I worked at the paper and we printed the classifieds the evening before). Still wished I could have got that one. jim

That same ad was in the local paper where I'm at. A friend called several times and got no answer. Scam

They probably put a phone number on there to make people think there's some legitimitacy to the ad.You email them, then the scamming begins.

Donít trust just because you can call a local number. You know you can get internet ph # and it be anywhere.
