How difficult and involved is repair on the Park Pawl in a TH400 transmission? Mine will not hold on an incline and requires repair.

was it ever rebuilt-there is a bracket with 2 bolts that holds the rod, it can be put on wrong, not allowing the pawl to go in far enough at times (the pan needs to come off)
ya kind of half to look at it, see what its doing to get it on right
