Damn sure not the super comps. Great headers exept for clearance and ceramic coating.

the super comps with the 2" primaries (forgot the part #) are not ground clearance oriented but thats what I have on my car. I have to always keep an eye out where Im driving. My car is lowered a little though.

not sure how the fit is in a monte, but my big block in my 66 has a mile of ground clearance with a cheap set of heddmans. the heddman elite series header is said to fit just as well.

Lots of other stuff will hit the road before my headers do.

They say the Hedmans 68198 are one of the best fitting headers out there, haven´t tried them on my 65 yet, waiting for the package.

Just chiming in to fulfill my need to kick a dead horse ...but I have the Hedman 68198's on my '72 and, as previously stated, they have more clearance than the pans.

hooker 2455 comps were too low
my buddy has the 2" super comps and they are the same

this was my resolution
pricey but it worked and i like the stance and filled wheel wells much better
