Default 454 engine build

I have a 454 bored .040 I had build a few years ago for a mud truck. I got rid of the truck and now I am thinking of doing another truck. This motor has been sitting for over a year I have turned it over a few times since it has been sitting. I am thinking about freshing it up and trying to get a little more compression out of it. As I said it's a 454 bored .040 scat 4.25 crank, H beam rods, small dome pistons (can't remember exactly what the dome was), edelbrock aluminum heads 110cc, rpm air gap intake, harland sharp roller rockers, all balanced. It was suppose to have about 9.25 compression. I would like to up that to 10.25 or so, (run on 93 or maybe a mix of 93 and 100) I was wondering what the best way to up the compression ratio would be? Deck the block, shave the heads? I hate to buy new pistons since these only have maybe 300 miles on them. I also would like to hear some cam ideas? I just want to make the most hp and tq I can with what I have, by changing the cam and upping the cr. I am also gonna have the heads and intake cleaned up and matched. I will be running a 2500 stall, th400 transmission. Let me know what you think.

I think dome pistons, a 4.25 crank, and 110 cc heads is a lot more than 9.25:1 already.

Pull a head & get an id from the pistons.

Sample Compression Ratio Calc: .030" Overbore (4.280") Std (4.000" Stroke)

MEASURED COMBUSTION CHAMBER
VOLUME = 118 CCS
HEAD GASKET COMPRESSED GASKET THICKNESS = .038" (GM composition type gasket)
MEASURED PISTON DECK TO BLOCK DECK HEIGHT = .025"
PISTON DOME VOLUME = +50 CCS, (TRW #-2307 +.030" forged)

We need to convert the combustion chamber volume from ccs to cubic inches so:

Chamber volume in cubic inches = 118ccs 16.387 = 7.2008299" cubic inches

We need to convert the head gasket compressed thickness to volume in cubic inches so:
Head Gasket volume in cubic inches = 0.038" gasket thickness x 0.7854 x 4.280" bore x 4.280" bore = 0.5467163 cubic inches

Now we need to convert the piston deck height into a measurement of volume in inches:

Piston to Deck volume in cubic inches = 0.025" deck clearance x 0.7854 x 4.280" bore x 4.280" bore = 0.3596817 cubic inches

Convert piston dome ccs to cubic inches: 50ccs 16.387 = 3.0511991 cubic inches

Now lets finish everything up and remember to do those portions of the formula inside the brackets first and individually.

ACTUAL MEASURED STATIC COMPRESSION RATIO = 1 + (0.7854 x 4.280" bore x 4.280" bore x 4.00" stroke) [(7.2008299" chamber volume + 0.5467163" head gasket volume + 0.3596817" deck height volume) - 3.0511991" piston dome volume]

CR = 1 + (57.549084) [(8.1072279) - 3.0511991]

CR = 1 + (57.549084 cubic inches 5.0560288 cubic inches)

CR = 1 + (11.382269)

CR = 12.382269 or 12.38 to 1

I made a mistake last night, the stroke on this engine is 4.00. Now what do you think. Thanks.

I think you still need to know what the piston is as well as where it is in the hole before anyone can hazzard a "guess",,, but I hate off the wall guesses so I am somewhat biased
