You will have to get your photo online using something like photobucket, then use the link to the pic.

Dean really does want to help, it's just the grouchy old guy in him that likes to drive the point home. In URL-speak, that means "learn to use the search feature."

Please get the pics up. I enjoy seeing dash customizations.

Wow! It worked! Well i guess I cam follow simple directions....Don't tell my wife! Anyway, I made this out of sheet metal and the gauges are the cheap Equus line from Kragen, but they look ok and they fit my budget! Well, what do you guys think?

I am looking to do something like that for my sweep dash elco actually

What size are the speedo and tach? I was going to get a set of autometer ultra-lites.

Had to do a double take to see it wasnt a set of autometers.

Looks great!

The tach and speedo are 3 3/8". The speedo is mechanical. This was very easy to make. I think it is going to look better than the Covans setup and MUCH less expensive!

I gotcha on the turn signal lights but what is the top center one?

I did look at the Covan's as well but I think I am just going to chop mine up till I get what I want. Is it the stock gauge cluster with aluminum over the top or did you fab the whole piece?

The red light is going to be for oil psi failure. The unit is made from sheet metal. I made some cardboard templates and replaced the entire plastic housing, even the lower section with the turn signals and idiot lights. It bolts up to the stock mounting locations with the tabs in the pic. All the pieces are straight so no special metal working tools were needed. You could do this with a jig saw. I painted the whole thing with trunk texture spray paint then went over it with flat black vinyl paint. I am real happy with the finish
