Considering I actually drive for UPS, I would definitely like to take that out for a spin. I can guarantee that I would get done with my route by lunch time.
Cool graphics too. |

Pretty cool concept indeed.
What I don't understand though is why would you put all that time, money, and effort into a delivery truck concept, and settle for a naturally aspirated small block engine? It's a dual wheel heavy truck. So why not go with the torque of a big block? I'm sure they had plenty of room for one. Even a small block with a mini roots blower would've been fine. For all that work, I think they missed the boat on this concept. The Swedes are certainly no strangers to big power nor to big block engines either. And with all that room in those rear wheel wells, I would've liked to see the dual wheels abandoned for either M&H P375 drag radials, or atleast 14" wide M/T Sportsman tires. After all, they went with custom wheels anyway, so why not do it right? I mean they definitely spent a good amount of money on this concept. They did the brakes right, had the entire chassis right there in front of them when they removed the body. So why the shortcuts?

I don't know what's in it, but let's line up this one against the German built truck... Maybe call it "Big Brown's All Out"

Not to the Swedes (and I thought the guys in that first video were Swedish) but look a this video below of drag racing in Sweden. Those guys over there know all about American Muscle car big block power. Probably better than some Americans do.

While we're on the subject of Big Blocks, why don't you guys pop over the the engine section and make a guess at my upcoming dyno results so I can give some money to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Thanks in advance for the guess |
