Wow! - Shure is in sad shape for being such a rare car - Too bad, I'm sure it will be great once again shortly.

I have an old article about that car from one of the old chevelle magazines that the NCOA used to send out when you were a member.

I was trying to buy that car for many years and have a lot of history on it.
When I first saw it, I found the POP and other paperwork in it and the owner didn't know what a POP was but he knew it was a real Motion car. here is other thread on it http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257482 |

That 67 is significant in many ways...At the very least, that car makes one re-consider the "SS427" Chevelles that have been dismissed as fake...
Maby a little research could have proven one of those "fake" SS427 to indeed be a real, rare and desirable hi-po dealership conversion... I say keep an open mind...I'm quite sure that this 67 motion isn't the only real hi-po dealership conversion...that is, as it pertains to 66, 67 Chevelles ![]() ![]()

The picture below the 66 is that of the Motion Chevelle! Got any more you'd like to share? I also think you are right about many other cars getting a "Hi Perf" treatment from the dealerships. If you had the money they'd fix it how ever you wanted.

It is always good to keep an open mind but also good to have documentation.
The 67 Motion Chevelle is well documented by the 1967 magazine articles that the 427 engine was installed by Motion Performance |

Hey Rick...I met up with you and Kevin at Vettefest a few years ago when Kevin brought the Yenko wagon there and you had your Smokey Yunick Vega there as well...
You did a killer job on both cars! Say hi to Kevin for me Bruce
