My friend lost his Chevelle last night in a fire. *pics*
Heard my friends name on the radio today, His unattached garage burned down last night. Lost his 70 SS & his DD 99 Sonoma along with TONS of NOS stuff from the last 10-15 years of collecting. Anytime I needed anything for my chevelle, Decklid, Door latch, Funky screw for some wierd part he had it. Everything is gone now.
 I stopped by today but he was not home, Snapped a few pictures. Bad deal. At least he didn't loose the house. It melted the siding & burned the wood under it. (on the house) Man, I don't wish that on anyone. LK

Wow that is such a terrible thing to happen to someone. The important thing is that no one was hurt or killed. Do you know how the fire started?

Please pass our condolences on to your friend, that is terrible. Hopefully insurance steps up to bat, but the 10-15 years of collecting parts is gone. On the bright side, hopefully he has made enough friends someone will turn him on to another Chevelle, and he can start all over again.

Man that's just awful. Luckily his house is OK, that would have been tragic to loose that or have someone be injured.

Don't know what started it yet, I haven't talked to him. I might try & call later. He sold tons of stuff on ebay over the years and really liked collecting Chevelle stuff. He had a few decklids, Couple doors, about 10 70 grilles, PW stuff - Just any trinket you could think of. I hope his insurance helps him out with the "stuff"
