The Global West a-arms are much more solid than the Air Ride a-arms, and the lower a-arms are twice as thick as Air Rides a-arms...

Take a look at the pictures :

Nice car.
What spindles are you going to use?

Default Chassimounts & Ford Moser 9"

I've been quite busy the last weeks and haven't had time to work on the project as much as I wanted too :-(

Some of the chassimounts were rusted and the steel was very thin around the holes. I decided to cut out the old steel and weld in new fresh material.

The Moser Ford 9" axle comes in bare-steel finish, so I have put on some epoxy on it. I've decided to paint the chassi and rearaxle AFTER we are finished with the bodywork.

Parts from NPD arrived a two weeks ago with new hood, inner/outer fenders, rear wheelhousings and trunk lid. I have new quarterpanels and doors ready :-) Hopefully I will get some work done on the body within the next weeks. I must say I'm very curious if the sheetmetal fits OK... Time will show!

The transmission guy has done some progress. He disassembled the 4L80E and powdercoated it, as I write this post the transmissions is about to get assembled with new parts :-)

I thought I have seen that Volvo on Blackouts page before.

He goes by Anders / Bostic and Blackout
Not really a forgetable car.

Was that a bump with an update or just a bump? sometimes I can't see pictures at work.

Is the turbo still a 68mm Turbonetics with a 1.52 A/R ?

What converter are you using for the 4L80e?
I have begun my turbo BBC project using a Dart 540. I am at the trubo and camshaft stage, then converter after that. I am shooting for 1400 motor HP, but with a nominal power level of 800 motor HP. I am going back and forth between a 70mm and a 76mm with a much smaller A/R.

What fuel/spark and transmission controller are you going to use?
